Client: Adams & Butler
Platform: WordPress (Custom Theme)
Industry: Luxury Travel & Hospitality
Location: Ireland (serving US, Australia & global markets)

The Problem

Adams & Butler is one of Ireland's most recognized luxury travel companies, featured in Condé Nast Traveler, The New York Times, and recognized by Virtuoso. But a brand of that caliber needs a website that matches its reputation. The challenge was clear: how do you translate a deeply personal, high-touch luxury travel experience into a digital presence that captures leads, builds immediate trust with high-net-worth visitors, and organizes hundreds of experiences, destinations, and private rentals without overwhelming the user?

What I Built

I worked on developing and refining the WordPress site with a focus on premium UX, content structure, and lead generation. Key deliverables included:

  • A full-screen hero video layout on the homepage to immediately communicate the luxury brand experience

  • Structured listing pages for tailored experiences, destinations, and private rentals, each with clear CTAs directing visitors toward inquiry

  • A multi-region contact system with toll-free numbers for the US, Australia, and Ireland, reducing friction for international inquiries

  • Newsletter signup and lead capture forms embedded across key pages with minimal required fields for higher completion rates

  • Press/media section showcasing coverage from Condé Nast, The New York Times, and Barron's, reinforcing authority for first-time visitors

  • Trust-building elements throughout: Virtuoso membership badge, IATA accreditation, Condé Nast Top Travel Specialist badge, and verified client testimonials

  • Blog and press archive properly structured for ongoing SEO, allowing destination-specific content to rank organically over time

The Results

  • Organized 9 destination categories and 7 experience types into a clean, filterable structure, reducing the time it takes a visitor to find a relevant experience from multiple clicks to one, directly lowering bounce rate on key landing pages

  • Multi-region lead capture optimized, with US toll-free, Australia toll-free, and Ireland phone numbers alongside a short inquiry form, the site captures leads across three of its primary markets without routing them through a single friction-heavy contact page

  • Trust signals placed above the fold, featuring Condé Nast, Virtuoso, and NYT logos on the homepage hero, meaning high-net-worth visitors immediately see third-party validation before scrolling — a proven conversion factor for premium service businesses

  • Blog and press content properly structured for SEO, destination pages and press articles are indexed with clean URL structures and descriptive titles, contributing to organic visibility for searches like "luxury travel Ireland" and "bespoke Scotland tours"

  • Average session depth increased as a result of the internal linking structure across experiences, destinations, and team profiles, keeping visitors engaged longer and moving them naturally toward the inquiry form

  • Mobile-responsive across all pages, critical for a travel brand whose affluent audience frequently browses on mobile while planning trips
