Client: Pete Kelley's Auto Service
Platform: WordPress + Elementor
Industry: Automotive Repair / Local Service Business
Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Pete Kelley's Auto Service has been serving Phoenix drivers since 1972, a multi-generational, award-winning shop with an A+ BBB rating, 300+ reviews, and "Best of the Valley" recognition three years running. The problem wasn't credibility. The problem was that none of that trust was visible online. Their old website didn't reflect the reputation they had built over 50 years, wasn't ranking for local searches, and wasn't converting the visitors it did get into booked appointments. A shop that good deserved a website that worked just as hard.

What I Built

I redesigned and developed the full website on WordPress using Elementor, focused entirely on local lead generation and trust conversion. Key deliverables included:

  • A bold, clear homepage hero with a direct "Schedule Visit" CTA above the fold, removing any guesswork for first-time visitors

  • Dedicated service pages for all 10 service categories (Brakes, Alignment, A/C, Diagnostics, Transmission, and more), each structured for both user clarity and local SEO

  • Location-specific landing pages for Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Glendale to capture geo-targeted search traffic across the Phoenix Valley

  • Full Synchrony Bank financing integration with a simple 4-step visual flow, making it easy for customers to say yes to bigger repairs without upfront cost concerns

  • Review showcase pulling ratings from Google, Yelp, RepairPal, and BBB displayed prominently on the homepage, turning 300+ existing reviews into a conversion engine

  • A blog section with locally optimized articles (e.g. "Oil Leak Repair Phoenix," "Improve Fuel Economy Phoenix AZ") feeding ongoing organic SEO

  • Community trust section featuring local business clients (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, catering), reinforcing the shop as a trusted part of the Phoenix business community

  • GHL-powered lead capture form embedded in the footer for newsletter and appointment follow-ups

The Results

  • 4 location-specific landing pages created targeting Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Glendale, giving the shop a presence in local search results across the entire Valley, not just for one city

  • 10 individual service pages each optimized with descriptive titles, proper H1/H2 structure, and locally relevant keywords, expanding the site's organic footprint beyond the homepage

  • Financing section reduced a major conversion barrier, by making the Synchrony application visible and approachable (3-step visual, "decision in minutes" copy), visitors who previously left over cost concerns now had a clear path forward

  • Review aggregation from 4 platforms (Google, Yelp, RepairPal, BBB) presented on one page, a visitor arriving cold from Google could immediately see 300+ verified reviews and an A+ BBB rating without leaving the site

  • Blog content structured for long-tail local SEO, articles targeting searches like "valve cover gasket repair Phoenix" and "MAF sensor repair Phoenix" drive organic traffic from drivers actively searching for those specific services

  • Page load speed optimized through image compression and clean Elementor build practices critical for local SEO ranking, as Google's local pack favors faster-loading mobile pages

  • Mobile-first layout across all pages essential for an auto repair audience, the majority of whom search on mobile while already on the road or in a parking lot
